Milky Bay Resort is peacefully located directly on the beach of BanTai on Koh Phangan. Our resort is owned and managed by a Thai family and western couple who pay attention to every detail to make your stay even more enjoyable than you had hoped for.

The resort is situated and surrounded by lush bamboo and tropical gardens, giving the resort its special natural and relaxed atmosphere. All pathways are covered with soft beach sand, which give the resort a special rural character, and make it comfortable to walk barefooted around the resort.

At Milky Bay all bungalows are equipped to meet the highest of standards. All bungalows are air-conditioned and have western bathrooms with hot and cold-water showers. The room decor is a blend of modern sophistication with local Thai and traditional decorative elements and furnishings. Each room has a spacious balcony with sea or garden views. The bungalows are surrounded by lush vegetation which help ensure privacy and provide the necessary serenity inside your own little tropical kingdom.

Our massage Sala is the perfect place for you to release any stress or pressure and offers relaxation and rejuvenation. A variety of massage (Thai, foot, head, aromatherapy, etc) and beauty treatments are available at the cosy massage Sala and are a great way to further relax and recharge your body and soul.

Our unique half-shaded swimming pool overlooking the ocean and beach, give you the choice between lazing the day away and improving your tan or chilling out in the cool shade, while watching the ever-changing colours of the ocean. It is also ideal for smaller children as they can play in the pool without much concern for sun burns.

But that is not all that Milky Bay has to offer. Our fully equipped beach bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy the mesmerising sunsets while sipping on an amazing cocktail or fresh fruit smoothie while playing a few rounds of pool. The beach restaurant has a charming atmosphere and serves a variety of western and Thai dishes. The specialty is Italian food and fresh seafood, prepared Thai or western style. The restaurant is especially well known for its Thai style seafood barbecue spread and Italian pizza.

In terms of activities, Milky Bay has a lot to offer. Aside from taking a dip in the pool or having a relaxing massage you can play a round of pool or have a game of ping pong on the outdoor table, play beach volleyball or take advantage of one of the well-organized fishing trips.

Milky Bay is located on Koh Phangan in Ban Tai beach making it is easy to travel to all parts of the island as its very central. Haad Rin, the location of the famous monthly full moon party, is a mere 15 minutes’ drive away, as is the main town of Thong Sala, which is the main business centre and residence of most of the island's local Thai people.
